Ships Agency services provided to ship owners and operators include:
- Landside Management of Cargo operations
- Bunkers: Coordinate Bunker stems with oil major's, arrange bunker barge when and where necessary, coordinate bunker operations as per vessel / owners requirements.
- Ships Spares: track & trace spares, clear spares through customs, arrange delivery of spares to vessel.
- Ships stores: coordinate vessel and or owners requirements, communicate with relevant ship chandlers and arrange delivery to vessel.
- Crew Change: arrange guarantee letters, arrange and coordinate relevant flight requirements. arrange transportation to and or from vessel. Arrange hotel bookings, immigration clearance, customs formalities, secure accomodation at preferential rates through our Group owned travel Agency Grindrod Travel. Arrange crew to Doctor, dentist, hospitilization as and when required.
- Cash to Master: Manage safe receipt of funds through our specialized accounting departments, arrange safe delivery of funds in the required requested denominations to master under stringent security protocols.
- Fresh Water: arrange and coordinate fresh water supply to vessel per master and owners requirements.
- Stowaways: arrange and coordinate detention and safe removal of stowaways with relevant authorities (immigration/customs/P&I/South African Police Services) arrange and coordinate repatriation requirements in accordance with South African Immigration rules and regulations.
- Vessel arrests: arrange and coordinate required legal formalities through local lawyers in accordance with vessel owners requirements.
